TRACTORS AND FARM ENGINES
The Surveying and Leveling Laboratory is designed to provide students with practical exposure to the fundamental principles and methods used in land surveying, mapping, and leveling. The lab bridges theoretical knowledge with field-based applications, enabling students to understand terrain characteristics, measure distances and elevations, and prepare accurate maps for engineering and agricultural projects.
Objectives
- To familiarize students with various surveying instruments and their uses.
- To train students in conducting field measurements and data recording.
- To develop practical skills for preparing maps, plans, and profiles.
- To enhance understanding of leveling, contouring, and traverse computations.
- To enable students to perform topographical and engineering surveys effectively.
