About Us

Welcome to the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Erode Sengunthar Engineering College, Perundurai. The Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department is one of the oldest department of the institute which was established in the year 1996. Presently, the department offers both Undergraduate and Postgraduate program with the specialization in Power Electronics and Drives. The Department has well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machines laboratory, Power Systems Simulation Laboratory, Control Systems laboratory, Electrical Measurements laboratory, Power Electronics & Drives Laboratory and Electrical workshop Laboratory. The faculty members have been active in teaching and research activities and regularly producing research publications in international and national journals and conferences. Students passed out from this department get excellent placements through campus selection both in the core area industries and software companies of national and international level. Alumni of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department are very well placed in all sectors and have reached to the top level positions in the state/central government and private organizations.
The UG program is permanently affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and accredited by NBA. The department is recognized as an Anna University approved research center.
